There’s nothing like summer in the Hamptons, which spans the South Fork of Long Island from Eastport to Montauk. Whether you’re there to lay out in the sun, surf or kayak along the Atlantic coastline, or see and be seen in the hamlets’ shops, restaurants, farmers’ markets, and beach clubs, there’s something for everyone. We have a few favorite hotels in the area—like the classic Gurney’s Montauk Resort and Seawater Spa or relaxing Shou Sugi Ban House—but when you’re getting a big group together, booking a home base is usually the best way to spread out (and save a little money). These Airbnbs have it all, from private pools and modern kitchens to direct bay access. (Plenty of them throw in a few bikes, some beach chairs, or a paddleboard for your use, too.)
To note, these homes do book up fast—sometimes months before the summer season starts—so start looking and find some of the best Airbnbs in the Hamptons below.
