Ready to start owning your life and running shit? You need to read these.
Every once in a while, you might fall into a rut and feel frustrated that you’re not exactly where you want to be yet. (All the time for the ambitious ones, am I right?)
These books are the kickstart you need to start looking at your life and your career in a new perspective that will bring you into the world of success.
I have recommended these books to my friends over and over and OVER again, so I decided to share them with you in the easiest way possible.
The following books will teach you important life mastering lessons, starting with:
1) How to prepare your own mind to accept your greatness.
You Are a Badass®: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life
Do you ever feel like you’re meant for more, but you don’t know why you just can’t seem to get there?
Jen Sincero is like a mental sensei for anyone who isn’t where they want to be in life yet. She teaches you the no bullshit way to combat all of those excuses and ‘reasons’ why you’re not where you want to be yet, and teaches you how to start putting the wheels into motion for living your best life.
I downloaded this on a whim on one of my flights, and I COULD NOT and DID NOT want to put it down! I really did feel like a badass after reading this and immediately blasted it to all my friends and family.
Who it’s good for: This book is for anyone, and I mean ANYONE, who isn’t happy where they are in life, or someone who just knows they are capable of more but just haven’t figured out why they haven’t achieved it yet.
2) To, point blank, get your shit together.
I don’t know about you, but I can have SO many thoughts going through my brain at once, things I need/want to do, etc, it can just be damn overwhelming.
This book helps you strategize how to get all that shit out of your head and into an organized fashion, like doing a Marie Kondo on your mind.
Who it’s good for: Anyone whose inbox has over 100 unread messages, has been feeling overwhelmed, or feels like they’re behind in where they want to be.
3) To master the art of communication. (Ever heard the phrase: It’s not what you know, but who you know?)
How to Win Friends and Influence People in the Digital Age
This premise of this book has been around for over 75 YEARS and there’s a damn good reason for that!
This is a digital age adaptation of the Dale Carnegie’s classic “How to Win Friends & Influence People”.
This book is an EYE OPENER in terms of communicating with people and learning how to understand them, and how to get them to understand YOU.
I don’t care how savvy of a talker you think you are, you can read this book 100 times and still take something away from it, it’s that good.
Who it’s good for: Literally EVERYONE, unless you have dedicated your life to that of a hermit in the woods. But even then I think you could use it to your advantage in some way, lol.
4) To learn what to pay attention to, and what’s just not worth your time or energy.
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life
People who doubt themselves are going to doubt you. People who are jealous of you are going to bring you down. People who are afraid of pursuing their own dreams are going to try to convince you to.
Who it’s good for: If you’re not already living a life boldly and proudly without giving a fuck about other’s approval, you need to read this.
With a combination of these mental guides, you’ll be kicking ass at life in no time.
All of these books have had a significant impact on my outlook on my day to day life, and I could read them over and over and still get something from them.
I kept this list short and sweet, because these are the top four books I recommend OVER and OVER again for a reason.
So if you’re ready to start taking yourself and your shit seriously, I hope you download/order these bad boys ASAP and they inspire you to get after it like they did for me.
With love,
The Adventure Bitch 💕
