Circa January 2017, when my initial 2-week vacation turned into a month, and even that wasn’t long enough in the Phillippines! ⠀

This beach is El Nido, and a literal backpackers paradise. Except, I did step on a jagged piece of coral and started bleeding profusely as I was climbing about the boat for my excursion of the day. Lol, thankfully my will for adventure was stronger than my pain tolerance. ??♀️ (And this is why water shoes aren’t just for shits and giggles, folks!)
