After yesterday’s post, a few of my ex’s (the ones with hearts of gold…) reached out to me to see if I was okay (and to ask if that post was about them, lol ??♀️, such sweet souls…)⠀

Just because you find yourself not “soulmates” with someone, doesn’t mean you have to cut them out of your life. It’s not going to happen overnight, but one day you wake up and realize that while those romantic feelings may be gone, they still mean something to you. ⠀

It was nice to hear that despite the time passing, they still cared about me enough to reach out and that I made some sort of positive impact in their life that they are/were thankful for… I’m tearing up just typing this out. ⠀

And thank you all for your uplifting words. You may not feel like it’s much, but it is. It means the world to me right now…⠀
