Looking to beef up your hotel loyalty program account totals? Several promotions are worth registering for to use on a future trip. Wyndham Rewards is holding a “members month” offering varying discounts and bonus point offers revealed each week. Some deals require registration so be sure to do so before checking into your stay. Wyndham credit cardholders are eligible for extra bonuses, too.
World of Hyatt stays throughout the months of March and April are eligible for 3,000 bonus points for every three nights. At more than 500 participating hotels, World of Hyatt credit cardholders can receive an additional 1,000 points for every three nights. Register by April 15 for this promotion. Choice Privileges has its own bonus offer awarding 8,000 points after completing two stays between now and April 30. That’s enough for one free night at many of its properties.
Between now and April 30, you can also earn triple points at Accor Live Limitless in North and Central America. You will need to register first if you want to rack up the points at thrice the normal rate though. Also through April 30, WorldHotels Rewards members can earn triple points on stays at participating hotels worldwide. There is no limit to the number of points you can earn, but be sure to register before your first stay. Stay two nights at participating Best Western Rewards properties between now and May 5, and you will receive a free night to use by August 25. Registration is required for this offer too.
And finally, IHG One Rewards members can register to receive 40,000 bonus points for every four nights spent at an Iberostar resort between now and May 20. You can earn this bonus twice at this all-inclusive brand, one of the newest additions to IHG’s hospitality portfolio.
Redemption deals and loyalty perks
Once you accumulate enough points in a program, there are all kinds of ways to redeem beyond a free flight or hotel stay. In recent years, programs have created one-of-a-kind experiences that members can bid on or buy using points. Marriott’s limited-time offers are called Marriott Bonvoy Moments. One of its latest offers comes with the chance to enjoy a seven-course, wine-paired dinner from Michelin-starred chef Domenico Stile and enjoy an overwater villa at the St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort.
T-Mobile customers are now eligible to receive extra perks as part of its new Magenta status. This includes the ability to score Hilton Honors Silver status through March 31, 2025. This is Hilton’s lowest elite tier, but comes with bonus points, upgraded Wi-Fi and other discounts during a Hilton stay.
If you’re headed to SXSW in Austin this year, Delta SkyMiles members can enjoy free Wi-Fi and Starbucks drinks in a dedicated Delta Lounge. Members also can use electric Delta-branded “hoppers” as free transportation to get around the events. Medallion elite status members can unlock a reservation-only, speakeasy lounge-within-a-lounge featuring live music along with barbecue and wine tastings.
No matter what you use your miles and points for, be sure to get the best deal by using search engines that suggest the lowest price. These include websites like AwardLogic.com and PointsYeah.com that scour airline availability and can explain how to transfer credit card points to the right program for your trip. Both come with several free search options.
The same tools exist for tickets you pay for in cash like the newly introduced KAYAK PriceCheck that allows you to upload a screenshot of any flight option from any website for an immediate price comparison from hundreds of other points of sale elsewhere. Whether it’s real money or miles and points, good deals mean you can save more to spend at your destination.
